Paxon Go is an independent student-planning service. This policy explains what information the service handles, why it is needed, and the choices available to account holders.
Information we collect
Account information
We collect the email address used to create an account. Passwords are stored only as cryptographic password hashes. We also store revocable session records so users can remain signed in securely.
School-planning information
Users may enter a student name, class schedule, assignments, due dates, events, reminders, planning notes, school-year settings, and parent notes. Optional grade sync stores a read-only snapshot of classes and assignments supplied by the account holder.
Device storage
The app keeps an account-specific copy of planning data in the browser so it can load quickly and recover safely from interrupted connections. Weather information and role preferences may also be cached on the device.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide and protect the requested Paxon Go features, including:
- keeping schoolwork synchronized across the account holder's devices;
- prioritizing assignments and generating reminders;
- showing limited parent-facing planning information;
- displaying optional grade context supplied through the account's sync token; and
- preventing unauthorized access and diagnosing service problems.
Paxon Go does not sell personal information and does not use student information for targeted advertising.
Service providers and optional features
Paxon Go uses infrastructure providers to host the website and database. If a user chooses an AI-assisted import feature, the selected schedule image or extracted district-calendar text is sent to the configured AI service to produce the requested result. Imported items are shown for review before they are saved.
Local weather is requested directly from the National Weather Service. The request does not include a student's planning data.
Cookies
Paxon Go uses one essential HTTP-only session cookie to keep an account signed in. The site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
Student and family use
Paxon Go is intended to be used with the involvement and authorization appropriate for the student's age and circumstances. A parent or guardian should create or approve an account for a child who cannot legally provide consent on their own. Schools should not direct students to submit information unless the school has separately reviewed and approved the service.
Paxon Go is not an official school record system and does not replace a school's gradebook, learning management system, or required communications.
Retention and deletion
Account information is kept while the account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Account holders may request deletion through the account-support channel provided with their Paxon Go access.
Security
Paxon Go uses password hashing, revocable sessions, encrypted transport in production, and access controls appropriate to this service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should choose a unique password and protect any grade-sync token.
Your choices
Users can choose whether to enter optional information, use AI-assisted imports, enable browser notifications, or configure grade sync. For access, correction, or deletion requests, use the account-support channel provided with your Paxon Go access.
Policy changes
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. If a change requires new consent, Paxon Go will request it before applying that change to affected information.
